LANCE AUX EPINES, GRENADA

It has been over one month since the vibrant life of 47-year-old British national Andrew Frederick was cut short.

While the sun continues to set over the quiet community of Lance Aux Epines, the Frederick family remains trapped in a waking nightmare, battling both the grief of a brutal loss and limited transparency in the official investigation.

The Discovery: A Scene of Violence

On January 4, 2026, Andrew’s body was discovered in his home after concerned loved ones, unable to reach him, requested a welfare check via a family friend. What greeted those who entered was not a natural passing, but a scene of chaos. Sources close to the family describe a vandalised residence and a body bearing traumatic injuries, hallmarks of a violent struggle.

To his grandmother, Andrew was more than a headline; he was her “right hand.”

“He’s loving, he’s kind, he’s genuine… who could do a thing like that to a human being? Who could kill Andrew and get away with it?”

The Investigation: Limited Transparency

While the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) maintain that the investigation is active, the family’s frustration has reached a breaking point. One month later, no suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made.

Independent Experts Confirm Foul Play
Refusing to wait indefinitely, the family took the extraordinary step of hiring independent experts, including renowned pathologist Dr. Hubert Daisley of Trinidad and Tobago (jointly used with the RGPF) and a private crime scene investigator.

Their findings were clear: Andrew Frederick was murdered. “The reports have been completed and submitted to the police,” a family spokesperson stated. “We have done the work to provide indicators of foul play, yet we have no insight into the direction of the investigation.”

A Call to the Public: “Stop the Rumours, Find the Truth”

The Frederick family says damaging rumours about Andrew’s death are being circulated, worsening the family’s distress and obstructing the search for truth. They are urging the public to reject speculation and instead provide clear, factual information to help bring accountability and justice.
