As we embrace the last days of autumn, let’s take a moment to celebrate resilience, history, and solidarity. From honouring Black excellence during Black History Month to gearing up for this year’s Baton Awards, November is all about reflecting on challenges, achievements, and the power of standing together.
As February wraps up, I’ve been immersed in the inspiring BHM 2024 content flooding in from America. Black History Month should be a year-round celebration, highlighting Black excellence and stories.
So here we are, another trip around the sun is no well in the rearview mirror. Looking back is and reflecting on our ups and downs is important but looking ahead with a positive mindset is exciting. I’ve spent the past few weeks striding into 2023 enthusiastically, feeling unashamedly optimistic, ready for what’s in store and it all starts right here with our January issue.
