Although the saying, “if you can’t beat them join them,” is well-known, it does not apply to Flo Rida.

The rapper recently launched an energy drink brand called JettSet1, following a lucrative legal victory where he received $82 million. Previously, we reported that Flo Rida had sued energy drink company Celsius for $30,000 in damages due to a breach of contract in 2014.

The contract stipulated that Flo Rida should have received compensation in the form of stock options or a bonus, but neither was paid. Additionally, Celsius did not update him when their sales increased nor disclose their financial earnings.

The court ruled in favor of Flo Rida, awarding him $82,640,450 in damages, including the 250,000 shares that he was entitled to under the contract.

Since then, Flo Rida appears to be using his money wisely by launching JettSet1 Enterprises and releasing a new energy drink under the same name.

In an interview with Insider, he explained that he wants to take JettSet1 to the same level of success that he achieved with Celsius.

The energy drink will contain “healthy, responsible ingredients” that promise to help customers “get the best out of their immune system.” Flo Rida, known for his fit and healthy lifestyle, hopes that JettSet1 will reflect this image. The energy drink will hit shelves in 2024.
